A half-day tour begins with a visit to the local market to experience the sights and sounds of the market place and the fresh produce of the day. The Handicraft Market lies adjacent to the main market where you can also spend time purchasing souvenirs or gifts for families and friends back home.

The coach will depart for the Immaculate Conception Cathedral at Mulivai within the main city of Apia for approx. 10 – 15 minutes before the trip continues through the main Beach Road for a scenic drive towards the cool fresh water Piula Cave Pool for a swim. (Guests to buy light lunch on the way before Piula trip).

Experience Fa'a Samoa at the Samoa Cultural Village | Piula Cave Pool

Days: Tuesday to Friday

This will be a full-day tour where we will pick you up from your hotel destination within Apia City boundary at 9.30 am and we will head to the Cultural village.

Be welcomed, the traditional Samoan way through an ava ceremony often reserved for visiting royalty and dignitaries. The tour starts at 10.30 am and runs for approximately 2 hours and commences with the preparation of the Umu. A guided walk around the Cultural village explains the demonstrations that are taking place, then once the Umu is ready, guests can sample fresh traditional Samoan cuisine of fish, taro and palusami served on a woven plate while watching a performance of traditional Samoan dance.

The Samoan siva is a graceful dance performed by the women where the dancer tells a story with her hands and fast actions of the faátaupati or slap dance which is performed by the men.

Upon completion of the above, we will take a scenic drive through the eastern coastline road to Piula Cave Pool for a freshwater swim for an hour.

Drop off at your hotel destination at 4.00pm.

EFKS Museum & Fine Arts | Tuanaimato Sports Complex | Papase'ea Sliding Rocks

This is a half-day tour where pick-up will be done from your hotel destination within the Apia city boundary. The journey leaves for the EFKS Museum through the main west coast road which takes approximately 25-minute drive.

If you want to see and experience the most stunning carvings and artwork. EFKS is the place to visit. It is also the place to learn about Samoan culture and history.

After walking through and learning about the history carved with fine arts and paintings we shall take our return journey we shall take a scenery drive through Tuanaimato Sports Complex on our way to Papase'ea Sliding Rocks for a freshwater swim and lunch before we return to your hotel destination.

Aleipata District Waterfalls | To Sua Ocean Trench | Piula Cave Pool

Days: Monday to Saturday

A special trip to the iconic To Sua Ocean Trench departing from any hotel destination District within the city boundary of Apia can be arranged through our tour guides.

A coastal drive through our main east coast will enable us to catch some glimpse of the modern and old village structures through modern and traditional villages along the way before heading inland and drive through the Le Mafa Pass which stands at 1,700 ft above sea level with a beautiful thick green foliage.

On this route, we can make a first stop at the Fuipisia waterfall or the Sopoaga waterfall. After visiting the waterfall, we will continue the scenic drive towards Lotofaga and straight to the To Sua Ocean Trench.

Our next stop will be at Lalomanu Beach where lunch will be served and a chance to swim or snorkel for those who chose not to swim in the Trench.

On the return trip we will drive through Aleipata District and head back towards Le Mafa Pass and have our last stop at Piula Cave Pool for a fresh water swim before returning to your hotel destination at 4.00pm.

Robert Louis Stevenson Museum | Bahai Temple | To Sua Ocean Trench | Anita’s @ Lalomanu Beach

Costs Include: All entry fees, BBQ lunch, hotel transfers, cold sandwich lunch optional (customers choice)


This tour will begin by taking a ride up to the beautiful island plantation home of the famous author Robert Louis Stevenson. It has subsequently served as the official home for the head of numerous administrations in Western Samoa. It is now a world-class museum located directly below the famous authors Mt Vaea burial site.

The next stop will be at the Tiapapata Bahai Temple before taking a scenic tour down the Cross Island road to Papapapaitai Waterfall and a South Easterly drive through traditional villages and countryside scenery towards Lotofaga and the famous To Sua Trench.

BBQ lunch (Potato Salad, Vegetarian Salad with Fish or Chicken plus Fruits for deserts) will be served at Anita’s Beach Fales. One hour will be spent on Anita’s Beach Fales and guests can make a choice to go for a swim, snorkel or sunbath.

The return journey will take us back through the southwest route to Le Mafa Pass with a beautiful scene at 1,700 feet above sea level then head west through more Samoan villages on the coastal overlay towards Apia.

Things to bring on the tour: Sunscreen, hat, Insect repellant, swimwear, towel, and some cash should anyone wish to buy from the local Beach restaurant.

Turtle Watch or Swim with the Turtles at Namua

The tour will begin with a southeast coastal drive towards Piula Cave Pool as a first stop or it can be the last one should guests prefer Namua Island first (where swimming with the turtles) in their natural habitat happens.

Lunch will be served at Anita’s beach fale at Lalomanu with further swimming and snorkeling will be done before heading to the Iconic To Sua Ocean Trench.

Some guests may prefer Piula Cave Pool as the last stop for a freshwater swim before returning to your Apia hotel destination.

Trip to Savaii

Days: Monday to Saturday
Full-Day Trip: Catch the 6.00 am Ferry from Mulifanua Wharf and return by the 4.30 pm Ferry from Savaii
Costs Include: All entry fees, cold sandwich lunch and bottled water, hotel transfers within Apia only.


Note: Pick-up time from Resort will depend on the boat confirmed for the tour, this would be at least an hour and a half before the boat time. The scenic drive to the wharf will leave you mesmerized in the nature, the beauty, traditional and modern structures along the way.

Arriving in Savaii, you will be taken back in time to what Upolu used to be many moons ago, with narrow roads, fewer houses and rich forestation.

The first stop will be the Alofaaga Blowholes. You will then go to the Siapo (Tapa) making demonstration and to the Afu Aau Waterfall for a freshwater swim, before heading back to Salelologa Wharf for the return Ferry trip at 4.00 pm.
